Job Title: Site Superintendent
Reports To: Project Manager
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Summary: Coordinates scheduling with onsite foremen on various jobs including direct coordination with customer representatives. Attends all required job meetings. Teaches and supervises all crew under his/her direction at all times. Assists in material order placement and coordination with sub-contractors. 

Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

  1. Ensure onsite crew has proper tools and materials to complete their tasks daily.
  2. Operates equipment following all federal, state and OSHA regulations in a safe manner.*
  3. Maintains and/or schedules repairs as needed.*
  4. Complies with all company policies and procedures paying special attention to safety regulations.*
  5. Operates production equipment in accordance with production needs.*
  6. Records length of time and quantity of materials used for each job.*
  7. Notifies management of product discrepancies, equipment malfunctions and/or personal injuries.*
  8. Inspects parts and documents findings on appropriate paperwork as needed.*
  9. Wears personal protective equipment in accordance with training guidelines.*
  10. Maintains supplies by receiving and stocking materials in designated areas.*
  11. Lifts and carries materials and equipment throughout work areas using appropriate equipment.*
  12. Maintains neat and orderly work areas at all times.*

  22. Works closely with the Project Manager from buy out phase to job completion.

  24. Ensure each job’s paperwork is being filled out in a detailed and timely manner.
  25. Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time is a must requirement.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
Directly supervises each Victor Excavation & Landscaping employee onsite. Generally will be overseeing multiple jobs at the same time.  Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Job Title: Working Foreman
Reports To: Superintendent
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Summary: Operates and maintains all heavy equipment including delivery of materials, helps jobsite coordination with Superintendent and is company onsite representation when the Superintendent and/or Project Manager are not onsite by performing the following duties.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

  1. Transports equipment to and from the job site according to outlined procedures.*
  2. Operates equipment following all federal, state and OSHA regulations in a safe manner.*
  3. Maintains and/or schedules repairs as needed.*
  4. Complies with all company policies and procedures paying special attention to safety regulations.*
  5. Operates production equipment in accordance with production needs.*
  6. Records length of time and quantity of materials used for each job.*

Summary: Loads trucks with materials on order form and delivers to address indicated by performing the following duties.

  1. Operates forklift and front-end loader.*
  2. Performs pre-trip inspections.*
  3. Drives delivery truck.*
  4. Ensures knowledge on stock materials.*
  5. Maintains interior and exterior of truck.*
  6. Ensures exceptional customer service and communication skills.*
  7. Reads road maps.*
  8. Obeys traffic devices.*
  9. Assists as needed with loading and unloading trucks and keeping yard organized.*
  10. Works ten or more hours in one shift as needed.*
  11. Responsible for safety of transport equipment and adjusts clutch and breaks accordingly.*
  12. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Job Title: Mechanic
Reports To: Office
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Summary: Responsible for the prompt, efficient repair of machines and equipment on manufacturing sites by performing the following duties.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

  1. Confirms proper operation of manufacturing machines and equipment each day.*
  2. Applies knowledge and ability to complete necessary repairs to all phases of manufacturing equipment.*
  3. Diagnoses malfunctions promptly to determine proper course of action.*
  4. Wears necessary safety equipment each day to include hard hats, safety glasses, proper work boots, safety harnesses and any other safety equipment needed for the assigned job.*
  5. Maintains tools and repairs equipment in optimum working condition.*
  6. Uses proper tools and equipment safely to complete each repair.*
  7. Reports any safety related issues or accidents to management immediately.*
  8. Maintains complete documentation for each manufacturing machine regarding repairs, upgrades and other relevant data.*
  9. Ensures work area is cleaned and safe at the end of each workday.*
  10. Secures tools, materials and equipment in the proper area at the end of each day.*
  11. Responsible for the safety of shop helpers.*
  12. Takes responsibility for the yard organization and appearance.*
  13. Responsible for vehicle inspections and registrations.*
  14. Performs other related duties as assigned.
